Plain Helper

For your mail and your day

See what needs you, before you open the inbox.

Plain Helper reads a mailbox you connect, turns messages into things you can act on, and keeps drafts here until you decide what to do with them.

How it works

  1. 01

    Connect a mailbox

You authorize Gmail, Microsoft, or Yahoo in the provider's own window. This app never asks for that password.

  2. 02

    Review what needs you

Each item shows why it was prioritized and how fresh it is.

  3. 03

    Approve before anything leaves

Drafts stay in Plain Helper. This release does not send, delete, or change mail.

Security and privacy

Read access, no sending

Connected mailboxes are read so requests can be found. The app does not send mail in this phase, and a draft is not a sent message. A future send would still require your approval of that exact draft.

Encryption

Production traffic is intended to use HTTPS. Field-level encryption for stored secrets, including OAuth refresh tokens, is being built and is not finished. We do not claim a completed audit, SOC 2, or ISO certification.

Your data is not used to train models

Plain Helper does not use mailbox content to train generalized models. When a live summary uses OpenAI, that excerpt goes to the OpenAI API. OpenAI's API terms say API data is not used to train OpenAI models unless a customer opts in. That is not zero retention: OpenAI may keep abuse-monitoring logs. The in-app demo assistant is rule-based and labeled Demo.
